Anfora — Connect Your Store to Your AI Assistant

Anfora links your Commerce7 store to the AI assistant your team already uses, so you can ask questions about your customers instead of building a report, running a filter, or exporting a spreadsheet.

It works with Claude, ChatGPT, and other assistants that support custom MCP connectors — you're not committing to one vendor, and if your team switches tools later, the same connector URL moves with you.

What you can ask

Find anyone in your customer list Search by name, email, or phone — or by whatever you half-remember.

"Find the customer who emailed about a club shipment — I think their last name was Smith."

See a customer's whole history in one question Orders, club memberships, and reservations together, without clicking through four screens.

"What has this customer ordered in the past year, and are they still in a club?"

Follow up naturally Because it's a conversation, the second question doesn't need to repeat the first.

"Which of them are in the Reserve club?" "Anyone in that list who hasn't ordered since last spring?"

Look up a cart Pull a cart and its line items by ID when you're chasing down an order issue.

How it works

Anfora is a bridge to Commerce7's own MCP service. It doesn't replicate your data or add capabilities of its own — it connects your assistant to what Commerce7 exposes, scoped to your store. As Commerce7 adds capabilities, the connector picks them up automatically; there's nothing for you to update.

Read-only access

Your assistant can search and read your store — customers, order history, club memberships, reservations, and carts. It cannot create, edit, or delete anything.

This isn't just a setting we chose: the app itself only requests read permission from Commerce7, so write access isn't something the connector could use even if it tried. Ask freely — there's nothing it can change.

Your credentials stay yours

Your assistant never receives your Commerce7 credentials. The connector holds them server-side and queries Commerce7 on your behalf, scoped to your store and no one else's.

Staying in control

Your connector URL works like a password. Rotate it any time from the app and the old one dies immediately. Uninstalling the app revokes access instantly.

Requires: an AI assistant that supports custom MCP connectors — Claude and ChatGPT both do — and permission on that account to add one. This app will send your Commerce7 data through the AI assistant once you configure the connector and begin using it.
